Hei Ming includes photos that he has collected and made between 2004 and 2009 in the book. Among these photos, those black-and-white ones were collected by the author and the color ones were newly made. Several old photos made at Tian An Men Square 20 years ago inspired him. He planned to collect 100 old photos made at Tian An Men Square and made new photos for people in these old photos at the same place and at same time.
